Hannah Sholl is a co-founder of Grove and a deeply experienced litigator, advisor, and connector with more than two decades of practice at the intersection of complex litigation, regulatory risk, and values-driven leadership. Known for her strategic clarity and extraordinary presence, Hannah guides individuals, companies, and boards through high-stakes disputes, government scrutiny, and internal investigations—with insight, empathy, and precision.
Before co-founding Grove, Hannah served in senior legal roles at Visa Inc., where she oversaw global litigation, internal reviews, and policy matters with international impact. She began her career at Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison LLP and later practiced at Holwell Shuster & Goldberg LLP, representing clients in commercial, civil, and white-collar matters. Across these roles, she developed a reputation for navigating complexity with steadiness and strategic foresight.
Hannah is an exceptional listener and trusted space-holder—qualities that have made her a sought-after mentor and a natural leader in cross-functional teams. Her work is guided by a strong ethical compass and a commitment to service, reflected in her long-standing leadership in pro bono advocacy and her ability to center human dignity in legal strategy.
She has received numerous honors for her legal and leadership excellence, including the Women, Influence & Power in Law – In-House Collaborative Leadership Award, New York Law Journal’s Lawyers Who Lead by Example, Profiles in Diversity Journal’s Women Worth Watching, and New York Business Journal’s 2023 Women of Influence. She has also been featured in Modern Counsel magazine.
A graduate of UC Berkeley School of Law and Barnard College, and a SHRM-Certified Professional, Hannah brings not only legal mastery but a keen design sensibility to her work—helping to shape Grove as a firm that is as thoughtful in its structure as it is in its advocacy.
